Job Description

• Participates in the development of the Client Analytics platform and understands the impact and needs of the applications. Supports the application and technical specialists in the multi-system application architecture and has a thorough understanding of available Analytical technology, tools and existing designs for the applications involved and the impact upon each other For large projects with multiple systems, the BW contractor resource is responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies, working primarily with management and technical specialists across functional disciplines.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• The candidate should be highly experience in successfully architecting Analytics (SAP BW) solutions in a complex and heterogenous landscape involving disparate SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Provides expertise and solutioning for BW architecture design or improvements to SAP BW and Business objects analytics solution.
• Works closely with cross-functional teams to provide robust and scalable analytics solutions in the area of Order to Cash, Source to Pay, Supply Chain Manufacturing and Record to Report.
• Will be responsible to review and approve the designs and development provided by implementation partners, adhering to Client standards for Compliance and data privacy requirements.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
• Prior experience in Pharma/Healthcare Industry is highly recommended for this job. Should be familiar with the Software Life Cycle (SLC) process followed at Pharma/Healthcare Companies. Should be local candidate.
• Leads teams consisting of other functional groups within the Client IT organization to establish technical strategies and the tactical plans to be positioned for the current and future needs of the business.
• Will be required to review and approve from time to time application of SAP delivered notes to fix BW application and security related issues.
• Provides strategic consultancy support to Business, Senior Application Technical Specialists and other technical architects in all aspects of enabling technologies to meet business needs.
• Communicates and educates the technical and business communities on current architectures and technologies and industry trends.
• Performs technical oversight of implementation projects to assure alignment with architecture and technology standards. Collaborates with the hardware, network and database architects in application design and implementation.
• Works closely with product vendors ensuring strategic and architectural fit, and ability of product to scale in order to meet Client requirements.
• Will provide architecture knowledge for technologies like BW/4HANA, Advanced Analytics, S/4 embedded analytics in the Client ecosystem
• Provides leadership as required in implementation projects. Assists IT management with technical training, guiding and evaluating less experienced IT, Business and technical staff.

Experience:

• 10+ Years of experience in Architecture and Implementation of SAP BW/BI
• Experience in BEx, BOBJ, Qlikview is a must.
• Experience in a Pharmaceutical Industry a huge plus
• SAP Hana experience is desirable
• Certification in SAP Hana (Business Intelligence) is desirable
