Location: San Rafael

Contract Length: 6 Months (to start)

Visa status: US citizen or Green card

Must have 5 to 7 years’ experience, not less. 
Candidates local to Marin county, or SF Bay Area are much preferred.

Responsibilities: 
• Develop, modify and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents; assist in defining and documenting SAP Best Practices. 
• Participate in the analysis of the business operations to validate requirements and scope, suggest process improvements and assist in effort estimation. 
• Develop, test, debug, implement, maintain and document ABAP code used in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows) objects on an ECC 5.0 System. 
• Assist with upgrades, new releases and monitor performance of the technical objects 
• BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, LSMW, writing user exits, BDC coding and interfaces. 

Required qualifications (Please see key areas of work above):
• Bachelor’s Degree required 
• At least 7 years’ experience in SAP ABAP/4 programming using: SAPScript, iDocs, BAPI, RFC. 
• Solid Experience with RFCs, SMOD/CMOD, BADIs, Enhancement Framework/Spots. 
• Development and knowledge with the SAP FICO/SD/MM modules. 
• Ability to transform business function requirement into technical program specs, and to code, unit test and debug programs. 
• Experience with BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, LSMW, writing user exits, BDC coding and interfaces. 
• Understanding of data structures and data objects 
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana is a Big PLUS
